Mr. McLeod has been in market research in the business communications field since 1978, when he became the Director of Market Research for International Business Forms Industries, Inc. (IBFI), the association representing business forms providers and their suppliers of paper and production equipment. In 1984, he established his own consulting practice, Arlington Analytica, and provided similar services to forms and commercial printers and other clients, including paper manufacturers and both analog and digital printer and printing equipment suppliers, on a proprietary basis. As the business communications market moved increasingly toward digital output, his practice followed that trend. During his career, he has conducted and managed literally hundreds of projects requiring primary research, desk research, in-depth personal interviews, market sizing, market projections, and detailed analysis. He has also performed numerous higher-level consulting assignments involving the development of business plans, establishment or revision of strategic goals, and establishment and validation of value propositions. These projects have been conducted for a broad range of clients in the printing and business communications field, as well as investment banks and venture capitalists, but especially for large technology vendors of business equipment, business process software, and technology such as digital displays and content management. Mr. McLeod holds a B.A. from Haverford College.
