Open Positions:

EVENT AND DIGITAL MEDIA MARKETING MANAGER

We currently have an opportunity for an Event and Digital Media Marketing Manager to participate as member of a team of professional, dedicated employees managing corporate event planning including trade event and publication marketing efforts. This position will be hands-on and multi-faceted to provide oversight, event planning, and direction in the marketing process to strategize, visualize, create content, lead generation, and evaluate event performance and post-event ROI tracking. A background in corporate event planning, meeting management and leadership will be highly valued in this fast-paced, high-profile position.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Create and implement trade event and publication marketing plan
  • Analyze and segment event/publication data (marketing, registration, attendance, evaluations, subscriptions)
  • Create and coordinate segment-specific content for newsletters, website, social media
  • Manage multi-channel marketing programs (email, social, web, print)
  • Create executive summary and other marketing support material for Sales
  • Manage outside resources (PR, telemarketing, print)
  • Interface with Questex Event Operations Team on venue, floor plan, booths, registration, signage, food & beverage, AV, hotel, show app, and related items
  • Interface with IT on marketing, CRM, content, website, database systems
  • Develop marketing resources and coordinate with exhibitors/advertisers on campaigns
  • Coordinate with Editor on conference program, Call for Papers, and Awards program
  • Work with partners on barter arrangements  (associations, publishers, etc.)
  • Create show guide and brochure (inserted into magazine and mailed) and oversee barter and/or house ads (print, digital)
  • Oversee magazine subscriptions, ad insertions, e-blasts, webinars, flipbooks

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of marketing experience with previous event planning, lead generation, and marketing communications experience, and will require the ability to work independently in an entrepreneurial setting.

CONSULTANT, PRODUCTION PRINTING & PUBLISHING

We currently have an opportunity for a Consultant to provide information to clients on hardware, service, and solutions trends within the printing and publishing industry, particularly related to production digital printing in graphic arts and data processing environments.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Perform primary and secondary research and provide competitive analysis on product, vendor, and market trends within the production digital printing realm
  • Assume a set of clients as primary analyst, providing proactive client care and inquiry response service, including visits to client sites and both personal and telephone/e-mail contact
  • Assume responsibility for producing an agreed-upon set of service deliverables including news analysis, event analysis, trend analysis, market forecasting and forecast analysis
  • Present research findings at client meetings and industry conferences
  • Participate in custom consulting engagements as a project leader and participant with subject matter expertise
  • Travel to trade shows to monitor technology trends and meet with clients, prospects, and key players
  • Assist in acquiring new clients and retaining current clients

The ideal candidate possesses several years’ research and analysis experience including knowledge of production digital print technologies and solutions in the Graphic Arts; excellent analysis and strategic thinking skills; strong written & verbal communication skills; strong computer skills particularly with the Microsoft suite; the ability to handle multiple tasks; and the ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization.

RESEARCH ANALYST, DOCUMENT OUTSOURCING

We currently have an opportunity for someone with 3-5 years industry experience to provide information to clients on trends within the document outsourcing industry, particularly related
to on-site and off-site printing, mailroom management, document scanning, archiving, and
document-related business process outsourcing. This position is located in our office in
Weymouth, Massachusetts.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Perform primary and secondary research and provide competitive analysis on service
    providers and market trends within the document outsourcing realm
  • Assume a set of clients as primary analyst, providing proactive client care and
    inquiry response service, including visits to client sites and telephone/e-mail contact
  • Assume responsibility for producing an agreed-upon set of service deliverables including
    news analysis, event analysis, trend analysis, market forecasting and forecast analysis
  • Assist in providing clients with strategic advice to help them succeed
  • Participate in custom consulting engagements
  • Travel to trade shows to monitor technology trends and meet with clients, prospects,
    and key players
  • Assist in acquiring new clients and retaining current clients
