SENIOR CONSULTANT, MARKET RESEARCH & CONSULTING

We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Consultant to support InfoTrends’ custom consulting team.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Assume ownership of assigned consulting projects as a project manager and lead analyst for all phases.
  • Partner with sales staff to identify, scope, and develop proposals.
    • Conduct primary research via online surveys, in-depth interviews, focus groups, and other methods.
  • Produce final deliverables which may include a written report, Powerpoint presentation, webinar, or white paper.
  • Provide clients with strategic advice addressing specific business objectives.
  • Present onsite to senior management and/or key client stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will possess skills and experience in the following areas:

  • BA/BS degree from an accredited college/university. Ideally with a marketing and/or business focus
  • 7-10 years of professional work experience
  • B2B and B2C market research processes including budgeting, scoping, survey/interview design, analysis, and recommendations
  • Enterprise document production/management technology
  • Project management best practices and standards (PMP certification or equivalent knowledge and experience)
  • Excellent analysis and strategic thinking skills
  • Proven written & verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills particularly with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, &Word
  • The ability to handle multiple tasks
  • The ability to work effectively with all levels and departments of the organization

We currently have an opportunity for a Research Analyst to provide information to clients on production workflow software and solution trends within the printing and publishing industry, particularly related to production digital printing in graphic arts and data processing environments. This position is located in our office in Weymouth, Massachusetts.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Provide clients with strategic advice to help them succeed
  • Perform primary and secondary research and provide competitive analysis on product, vendor, and market trends within the production digital printing realm
  • Assume a set of clients as primary analyst, providing proactive client care and inquiry response service, including visits to client sites and both personal and telephone/e-mail contact
  • Assume responsibility for producing an agreed-upon set of service deliverables including news analysis, event analysis, trend analysis, market forecasting and forecast analysis
  • Manage the delivery of InfoTrends’ Emerging Trends research program of quarterly surveys.
  • Present research findings at client meetings and industry conferences
  • Participate in custom consulting engagements as a project leader and participant with subject matter expertise
  • Travel to trade shows to monitor technology trends and meet with clients, prospects, and key players
  • Assist in acquiring new clients and retaining current clients

The ideal candidate has some research and analysis experience including knowledge of production digital print technologies and solutions in the Graphic Arts; excellent analysis and strategic thinking skills; strong written & verbal communication skills; strong computer skills particularly with the Microsoft suite; the ability to handle multiple tasks; and the ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization.
