Caroline Basyn
Director, Global Business Services, P&G
Caroline Basyn is director for P&G’s Global Business Services (GBS)
responsible for Workplace and Infrastructure Solutions. She
leads the relationship with Xerox and has built the strategy
transforming our print service. Caroline has held a variety of
leadership positions in P&G during her 24 year career. Raised in
Courtrai, Belgium Caroline holds a degree in Mathematics and
Computer Sciences form the University of Louvain-La-Neuve,
Belgium and has worked in Belgium, Switzerland and her current
role has her at the P&G headquarters in Cincinnati.
David Bates
Vice President, Office Marketing Programs,Global Business &
Strategic Marketing Group
Xerox Corporation
As vice president of Office Marketing Programs, David Bates is
key spokesman for the office business and is responsible for the
non-product specific marketing initiatives such as environmental
programs, managed print services, and the overall office value
proposition.
Previously, Mr. Bates was the vice president of product
marketing for Xerox’s Office Group. A 29-year veteran of the
printing and imaging industry, Bates began his career with
Tektronix Color Printing and Imaging Division (CPID) in1980.
While with CPID, Bates worked in Sydney as the company’s
national sales and marketing manager, Australia, in addition to
holding a variety of positions in procurement and manufacturing.
Bates holds a master of business administration and bachelor’s
of science degree from Purdue University.
Tom Callinan
Founding Principal, Strategy Development
Tom Callinan is the founding principal of Strategy Development,
a management consulting firm for the technology and outsourcing
space specializing in business planning, sales effectiveness,
advanced sales training, and operational and service improvement
(www.strategydevelopment.org). From 1998 – 2005, Callinan was an
executive with IKON Office Solutions, most recently vice
president and general manager of IKON’s largest business unit
with revenue of $1.4 billion. Prior to IKON, Callinan was the
founder and CEO of Copifax, Inc, a copier dealership that was
recognized with numerous awards including inclusion on the INC
500 list of fastest growing private US companies. Copifax was
acquired by IKON in 1997. Callinan graduated with high honors
from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
Randy Dazo
Director, InfoTrends
Randy Dazo is Director of InfoTrends’ Network Document Solutions
(NDS), Dynamic Content Software Strategies (DSS), Professional &
Managed Print Services, and Image Scanning Trends services. With
nearly two decades of experience, Mr. Dazo leads InfoTrends’
continuous information service practice in this area on a global
basis. Prior to joining InfoTrends, Mr. Dazo was Senior Manager,
Output Solutions for Ricoh Corporation. In this capacity he was
responsible for establishing channel requirements and go to
market strategies creating leading-edge solutions for the
market. Earlier in his career, he held senior sales and
marketing positions at Sharp, Net2Phone, Minolta, and Canon.
Mr. Dazo holds a Bachelor’s Degree from State University of New
York at Stony Brook.
Omri Duek
Consultant, InfoTrends
Duek is a Consultant for InfoTrends’ Dynamic Content Software
Strategies and Professional & Managed Print Services consulting
services. In this capacity, Mr. Duek provides research,
analysis, briefings, and consulting on the markets for software
and services within enterprise environments. Mr. Duek produces
InfoTrends’ annual document and content management forecast,
industry trend analyses, and strategic assessments and manages
primary vendor, channel, and end-user research studies.
Prior to joining InfoTrends, Mr. Duek held marketing and IT
positions at Inverness Medical Innovations. There he worked in a
cross-functional capacity, coordinating sales and marketing
activities while providing marketing research and analysis. He
was also core to the planning and launch of Inverness Medical
Canada, a wholly owned subsidiary. Preceding his tenure at
Inverness, Mr. Duek was employed by Vertex Pharmaceuticals,
where he focused on a proprietary patent database, as well as by
a small network consulting firm.
Mr. Duek is responsible for driving various research initiatives
within the software space and has been featured as a lead
speaker for many firms at customer and analyst events. He has
published a variety of industry research reports, documents on
best practices, white papers, and analysis reports focused on
ECM and enterprise-class technology solutions.
George Gallian
CEO, Compass Sales
George Gallian, CEO of Compass Sales Solutions, has 29 years of
experience in the industry. He sold his first company to Erskine
House for $8m, and over the years has helped to increase sales
for ALCO/Ikon, MWB, and Global Imaging Systems. George has
spoken at all of the industry’s largest conferences including
ITEX, Major Manufactures such as Sharp, Samsung and Kyocera’s
National Sales Meetings, ERP companies such as E-Automate and
OMD.
Jeff Hayes
President, InfoTrends
Jeff Hayes has conducted numerous strategic market and product
planning assignments for leading firms in the consumer imaging,
office equipment, and production printing industries. Prior to
joining InfoTrends, Hayes was the Director of Electronic Imaging
Consulting at BIS Strategic Decisions. With experience in
defining new business opportunities and applications for
consumer electronics, document solutions, and related services,
Hayes has provided research and analysis for Adobe Systems,
Canon, Eastman Kodak, Hewlett Packard, IBM, International Paper,
Lexmark, Ricoh, Sony, Toshiba, Xerox and other industry leaders.
Hayes has extensive experience conducting primary research on
customer requirements, determining the market potential for new
printing and imaging products, and managing large,
research-intensive projects. Mr. Hayes graduated cum laude with
a B.S. in Economics from the University of Massachusetts.
John Hewitt
Vice President, Global Distribution, Print Audit
John Hewitt is Vice President of Global Distribution at Print
Audit. In this position, Mr. Hewitt is responsible for
developing and managing existing and new industry partnerships
with the major office equipment manufacturers, and with key
copy/print industry distributors and management organizations.
Mr. Hewitt has been with Print since early 2007 and during this
time, Print Audit’s has seen rapid growth in its partner
programs and is widely recognized as an industry leader in the
emerging Managed Print Services market place. As well, Mr.
Hewitt is responsible for international marketing of Print Audit
solutions through distributors located in key cities throughout
the world.
Prior to joining Print Audit, Mr. Hewitt held a similar position
from 2004-2006 at Omtool, Ltd. a widely recognized solutions
provider for document routing and capture solutions. Mr.
Hewitt’s past experience also includes more than 15 years in
Marketing and Sales management at Equitrac Corporation, where he
was responsible for development of channel programs and key
product solutions for education and government markets, and at
ISI Infortext, one of the first companies to develop and market
office equipment control and management solutions.
Chris Iburg
Director, Post Sale Marketing, Global Business Group, Xerox
Corporation
Chris Iburg is Director of Post Sale Marketing for the
Office Products within Xerox Corporation. He was named to this
position January 2003 and is responsible for the worldwide
marketing of consumable supplies and services for the office
market segment.
Iburg joined Xerox in January 2000 as part of the acquisition of
the Tektronix color printing business. He started his career in
the printing & imaging industry with Tektronix in May 1988 and
has held a variety of management positions including Partner
Relations Manager, Evangelist, Director of Channel Marketing,
Director of Printer Marketing, Director of Marketing Operations,
and Director of Post Sale Marketing
Gary Lombardo
Marketing & Social Media Strategy, SLX, Sun Microsystems
Gary Lombardo is an experienced marketing strategist with a
focus on social software. His passion is for social media and
social networking technologies, particularly how they help drive
value for organizations and individuals. Over the last 12 years,
Gary has assisted large enterprises and small businesses develop
and execute on marketing and product strategy, including with
Saba, Mzinga, Iron Mountain, and Sun Microystems. In his current
role at Sun, Gary manages marketing and social media strategy
for the Social Learning eXchange (SLX), an online video sharing
platform that gives large enterprises and small- to medium-sized
businesses the ability to create online communities in the
workplace between customers, partners and employees. He holds a
Master of International Management (MIM) from Thunderbird, The
American Graduate School of International Management as well as
an MBA from Boston University. Gary is also an avid adventure
sports enthusiast, participating and coaching in others in
sports such as triathlon, mountaineering and climbing.
Cheryl McKinnon
Chief Marketing Officer
Cheryl brings 16 years of experience in enterprise content
management, having worked with vendors such as Open Text,
Hummingbird and PC DOCS. She has several years of market and
requirements research in addition to background in consulting
and training. She is actively involved with key industry
associates such as AIIM and ARMA.
Cheryl has a special interest in the challenges facing the
information worker in the increasingly electronic work
environment and since 2007, she has published widely on the
topic of records management and compliance pressures in this new
world of social media and Web 2.0 inside of the enterprise.
Ms. McKinnon holds a B.A. (Hons) from the University of
Winnipeg, Master of Arts from Carleton University and has
completed required coursework for a PH.D at the University of
Ottawa.
Jack E. Myers
Imaging Solutions/Major Accounts Sales Manager, Associated
Business Systems, a RICOH company
Bringing over 25 years of customer service and 12+ years imaging
industry experience to the marketplace, managing and mentoring
hardware and solutions sales personnel for ABS/Ricoh in the
Pacific Northwest.
His experience in MPS and DMS Sales cycles, coupled with having

Robert Newry

Robert is has an undergraduate degree from Oxford and an MBA
from Imperial College. He has been in the industry for over 15
years, holding a variety of positions at Ricoh, initially in the
Asia Pacific Region where he ended up as Chief Operating Officer
for Ricoh Hong Kong and then as head of back-office operations
at Ricoh UK. In 2003 he co-founded NewField IT, which has become
one of the leading independent software and services providers
in the industry, having conducted assessments in over 30
countries, involving more than 90,000 devices and 180,000 users.
He is currently responsible for NewField IT’s MPS engagement
toolset Asset DB, which is used by all the leading vendors.
Robert has also been the author of a number of white papers,
covering print assessments and A3 usage.
Noel
O'Dwyer, VP
Marketing, Strategic Alliances, Equitrac
Noel O'Dwyer is a seasoned veteran who brings more than 15 years
experience in business development and alliance management for
the software industry. His background includes establishing and
managing channel relationships with major firms in the software
development & document management markets. Prior to joining
Equitrac, Noel worked for MetaCarta, a provider of geographic
intelligence solutions, where he was Sr. Director of Channels
and Alliances.
In his role at eCopy, a market leader in ad-hoc scanning
software, Noel focused on building a Third Party Alliances
Program to execute the company document integration strategy.
Previously, he was a Sr. Strategic Alliances Manager for
Rational Software; and held senior positions at Cayenne
Software, Inc. and FPS Computing, Inc. He holds a degree in
Telecommunications and Computer Sciences, from Limerick
University in Ireland.
Robert Palmer

As Director of InfoTrends' Digital Peripherals Solutions
Consulting Service, Robert Palmer leverages his knowledge and
expertise to provide product coverage; trend analysis; primary
market research; and hardware, channel, and service and supplies
forecasts for the Digital Peripherals Consulting Service. He

events. Mr. Palmer is recognized as a leading consultant and

Service. Prior to that, he was Managing Editor of Lyra’s Hard
Copy Observer newsletter. In this capacity, he was responsible
for researching and writing about a broad range of digital
imaging products and markets.

Reardon

Jon Reardon is the Group Director of Office Document
Technologies at InfoTrends. Mr. Reardon provides research,
analysis, briefings and consulting on the markets for software
and services within small and medium-sized businesses and
workgroups within large corporations. Jon produces InfoTrends’
annual software and services forecasts and industry trends
analysis, strategic assessments, and manages primary vendor,
channel and end-user research studies. He has more than 20
year’s industry experience. Prior to joining InfoTrends, Mr.
Reardon served as the Senior Vice President of Marketing and
Product Development for Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A.
and has held executive level positions in field service,
technical support and engineering services with Minolta
Corporation and Canon USA (Canon Computer Systems, Inc.). Mr.
Reardon currently serves on the board of directors for the
Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA).
Mr. Reardon holds a Bachelor’s Degree from SUNY at Cortland and

Thomas Schneck
President, DocuWare AG
Thomas Schneck serves as President of DocuWare AG and is
responsible for the world-wide sales and marketing activities.
After graduating from the University of Munich with a degree in
business administration Thomas Schneck was an IT management
consultant with KPMG in Frankfurt, Germany.
Thomas then joined DocuWare which was still in its founding days
and has been heading the sales and marketing efforts since then.
His key focus has been the setup and support of a world-wide
network of Authorized DocuWare Partners.
After spending the early nineties in Germany, Thomas moved to
the US to focus on building the North and Latin American
reseller network. Today, he shares his time between the US and
Europe.
John
Shane

John Shane is a leading industry expert on marking materials
such as toner, OPC, inkjet ink, and cartridges. As a Director
for the Communication Supplies Consulting Service, Mr. Shane is

Frank Topinka

Frank is the senior executive for Page After Page, a print
management company, serving over 17,000 laser printers in MA,
CT, and RI. Page After Page began its print management journey
more than 4 years ago and continues to evolve its processes
around print consulting, hardware refresh plans, consumable
services, applications, fleet monitoring, and continuous
improvement.
Prior to joining Page After Page, Frank was the Senior VP for
McKenna Imaging, a professional photography lab with locations
in IA, CA, and AZ. During that period Frank had educational
opportunities with Dr. Ed Deming, financial literacy training
concepts and the practice of open book management, and the Covey
Leadership Center.
Frank holds a BA from the University of Wisconsin.
Anne Valaitis
Associate Director, InfoTrends
Anne Valaitis is the Associate Director for InfoTrends’ Image
Scanning Trends and Professional & Managed Print Services
Consulting Services. Ms Valaitis is responsible for managing
custom consulting projects, providing forecast analysis,
developing market sizing estimates, and creating editorial
content for product and market analysis reports. She has over 13
years of experience in the office solutions and imaging
industry.
Prior to joining InfoTrends, Ms. Valaitis gained industry
experience as a Product Manager for Océ North America. Anne was
responsible for bringing to market a variety of hardware and
software products. In this position, Ms. Valaitis played a
critical role in developing, implementing, and overseeing a
solutions driven organization. Prior to Océ, Anne was a Product
Manager with Konica Minolta Business Solutions, where she
focused on hardware and software solutions targeted at the
office. Anne has extensive industry experience, particularly in
solutions development.
Sophie V. Vandebroek
Xerox Chief Technology Officer, President, Xerox Innovation
Group
Dr. Sophie Vandebroek is Xerox’s Chief Technology Officer and
the President of the Xerox Innovation Group, leading Xerox’s
research centers around the globe.
Previously, she was Chief Engineer of Xerox Corporation, a role
in which she was responsible for coordinating Xerox's
engineering efficiency and effectiveness. During this period
Xerox refreshed more than 95 percent of its product line. Prior
to that, Vandebroek served as Chief Technology Officer at
Carrier Corp. From 1991 until 2000, she held a number of
increasingly responsible roles at Xerox including technical
advisor to Xerox's chief operating officer and director of the
Xerox Research Centre of Canada.
Vandebroek is a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical &
Electronics Engineers, a Fulbright Fellow, and a Fellow of the
Belgian-American Educational Foundation. She holds 12 US
patents.
Vandebroek has received awards from Xerox, IBM, HP, Monsanto,
the Belgium National Science Foundation, Semiconductor Research
Corporation, IEEE, and Cornell University. Vandebroek served as
a judge for MIT’s Technology Review Young Innovators awards, the
Wall Street Journal Innovation awards and the FIRST Lego and
Robotics competition regional awards. Vandebroek is a member of
the Board of Directors of Analogic Corporation, director of PARC,
a trustee of Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) and serves on
several university and professional advisory boards.
Vandebroek was born in Leuven, Belgium where she earned a
master's degree in electro-mechanical engineering from
Katholieke Universiteit, Leuven, Belgium. She also received a
Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Cornell University.
Vandebroek lives in Lincoln, MA with her husband and their six
teenage children.
