Enrico Barboglio
President, 4IT Group
Graduated in Electronics Engineering, since 1989 Enrico Barboglio has
been involved in the digital printing and electronic document sector as
market analyst. As President of 4IT Group in Italy, he coordinates
communication activities and the organization of events in the ICT
market to enhance networking and exchange of knowhow.
He is Project Manager of the conference Digital Printing Forum and the
exhibitions Imprinting and DocuBusiness, which represent the most
important meeting times for the Italian digital community.
He is also Director of the Italian magazine DDm (Digital Document
magazine).
In 1999 he introduced the Italian market to the mission of Xplor and
contributed to the foundation of the Italian Chapter in 2000 and of the
Spanish one in 2008. After representing Europe in Xplor International’s
Board of Directors for 4 years, Enrico was elected Vice President in
2009.
Carlo Felice Biassoni

Carlo Felice Biassoni is Director of Production Solutions for Europe,
Middle East, Africa (EMEA) at InfoPrint Solutions Company.
Carlo was appointed director in early 2008 having previously held the
position of Manager of Production Solutions for EMEA.
Carlo Felice Biassoni has 25 years experience in the printing industry.
He has helped customers gain competitive advantage with innovative
solutions including the first Italian printing Automated Document
Factory in 1997; the first European 'One off' books on demand solution
in 1998; and several European TransPromo Solutions, based on the
InfoPrint 5000.
During his career at IBM Italy, which began in 1977, Carlo Felice
Biassoni covered various roles related to printing solutions:
1985: Launched the IBM Advanced Printing Function architecture in Italy
1992: Set up and ran the first IBM Printing System Division Demo Center
in Napoli
1993: Became IBM Printing Systems Marketing Manager.
1999: Appointed Production Sales Manager for Italy. The country’s
outstanding business performance made Italy one of the most successful
countries for IBM Printing Systems Division.
2004: Appointed Sales Manager for the Southern Region of Europe
2006: Appointed Manager of the Production Solutions segment for South
West Europe.
Carlo Felice Biassoni has a degree in Electronic Engineering at
Politecnico University of Milano.
Hélène Blanchette
Go-to-Market Strategic Manager/Direct Marketing and TransPromo, Xerox
Hélène Blanchette is presently Go-to-Market Strategic Manager/Direct
Marketing and TransPromo for the International division of Fuji Xerox in
Singapore (covering 12 countries). Mrs. Blanchette arrived in Singapore
in July 2007 with a baggage of experience as National Industry &
Marketing Manager in Canada, for Graphic Communication Division of Xerox
Canada. At Fuji Xerox, Hélène’s responsibilities range from marketing
development strategies to international program management. Hélène has
been active in the graphic communication and the marketing industries
for nearly 20 years.
In July 2005 she was identified by Print Action Magazine as one of the
top 50 most influential people of Canada in the Communication industry.
She is the Creator of the Xerox 1 to 1 lab that has gained worldwide
recognitions and won numerous marketing innovation awards.
Hélène Blanchette is also known for her expertise in the traditional
offset environment. She was the owner of a printing business for over
eight years and the author of a workshop called “Getting to know the
graphic chain.” Over the years, Mrs. Blanchette has published more than
100 articles and columns for several industry related magazines. Known
for her talent as a great communicator, she is frequently invited to
deliver conferences in Canada, USA, Europe and Asia. Recently, in 2009,
Helene has been selected to receive the Woman of Distinction Award by
the international media Output Links.
Dotan Buchsweiler
Managing Director and CEO, DeveloPrint SPRL
Dotan is a renowned expert in high volume transactions and direct mail
color output. After managing the end-to-end project of implementing the
world’s first mass production digital color press (VersaMark), Dotan
became COO and board member of Be’eri Printers, one of the world’s
leaders in mass customized digital print.
In 2007, Dotan founded DeveloPrint as a European-based consulting
company, supporting leading players in the digital printing industry. At
the beginning of 2009 the company went through a strategic change
transforming to a service-based operation. DeveloPrint began operating
from Belgium in order to better serve the European market and expand
activities all over the continent.
Dotan has a thorough understanding of the end-to-end production process
and workflow, from the customer-marketing concept to finalizing the
digital colour printed product.
Dotan holds a BA (Hons) in Printing Management from the London College
of Communication (LCC) and an MBA in Finance from The Interdisciplinary
Center, Herzliya (IDC).
Erwin Busselot

A native of Belgium, Erwin is fluent in 5 languages and holds a Masters
Degree in Industrial Engineering from Group T, Louvain, as well as a
B-t-B Sales & Marketing, certificate from EHSAL/INSTIMA, Belgium.
He started his career in the Graphic Arts in 1988 at Agfa as a product
specialist in the marketing department of the Business Imaging Systems
group and was part of the Desktop Publishing revolution that was
ongoing.
After Agfa he acquired a vast experience in sales and marketing step by
step with different players in the Graphic Arts industry as well as few
other High-Tech industries:

Marketing Director for Digital Printing Systems.
Having witnessed many steps in the digitalization of the graphic arts
(scanners, camera’s, proofers, workstations, presses …), he’s a strong
believer of Nicholas Negroponte’s old motto: ‘Everything that can be
digital, WILL be digital … and printing is no exception!’.
It’s his personal view that, now that so many steps in the production
chain have been digitized, the emphasis will be more and more on having
a complete solution which consists out of Hardware, Software and …
Brainware!
Valentina Carnevali
Marketing and Communication Manager, 4IT Group
Graduated in Modern Literature, Valentina Carnevali has been working in
the industry for over 10 years. Co-founder of 4IT Group, she looks after
the marketing and communication and coordinates all company's projects,
which include many educational events, market research, international
cooperation and institutional lobbying initiatives.
With the aim of intercepting market changes and pulling together
competences to match demand and offer in the Italian and international
markets, Valentina has contribute to the growth of Inprinting, Digital
Printing Forum, MailForum and BookForum and to the launch of Forum de la
Impresión Digital in Spain.
Since the birth of the Italian Chapter in 2000, she has been the
Accredited Officer of Xplor Italy.
In 2008 she was honored with Women of Distinction Class, Outputlinks’
Award to the diverse achievements of women in the HTVO community.
Mauro De Vecchi
IT Director, PRT Group
Mauro has been working in the business of Postal Automation Services and
Document Management from almost 18 years from now, covering different
roles and positions. During his professional career he has formed a
specific knowledge of document composition software, spool management
tools, postal sorting solutions, and printing equipment. He has played
intensively the role of document management consultant working both with
worldwide printing manufactures as well as privately owned print service
bureaus.
Presently Maura is Technical Director of PRT Group, as well as CEO and
Co-founder of software Company Intellidoc, specialized in document
automation projects.
Crit Driessen
Vice President Marketing & Strategy, Oce
Since the creation of the SBU Production Printing, Crit Driessen
is responsible for worldwide marketing and strategy. Responsibilities
include product planning for all production continuous feed and cut
sheet products, software, alliance management. Crit has 27 years
experience in the Digital Printing Industry. Previous functions held
within Oce include Senior Management Functions in strategy sales and
marketing and R&D. As a Dutch native he spent 6 years in the U S in
most Oce business and has now lived in Munich for 6 years.
Mark Halford
Sales Director, DST Ouput
Mark has worked in the transactional market for 18 years encompassing
operations, sales, production and consultancy. His consultancy and
Directorial roles have been for hardware vendors, print management
companies, transactional specialists, software firms and end users.
Operating in the Financial Services, Retail and Telco sectors his
experiences include building the business case for Trans-promo, solution
design, transition and optimisation.
Dimitrios Kyprianou
Relationship Director for Centrica, Communisis
Dimitrios is the Relationship Director for Centrica, and
oversees the production of some 2.5 million printed transactional
communication items per week and helps our customers develop their
strategy around printed and online communications to increase
profitability, minimise impact/resource drain on internal business
processes and increase customer retention.
During his 6 years with Communisis, Dimitrios has been involved in a
diverse range of projects and has more than 13 years experience as a
service provider specialising in customer relationship marketing and the
use of I.T systems and data analytics to drive customer communications.
He is currently spearheading Communisis’ transpromotional offering.
Loïc LEFEBVRE
Director of Business Development, GROUPE DIFFUSION PLUS & DATA ONE
Since 2006, Loïc is Director of Business Development for GROUPE
DIFFUSION PLUS (92 M€ TO with 1’200 persons). He manages with his team
the business of the subsidiaries (Data One, Diffusion Plus, Gocad
Services, …) and works within the board on strategic projects. GROUPE
DIFFUSION PLUS is a leader in France for “Direct Marketing” &
“Transactional Mail” (Transpromo).
Previously, just graduated of his Business School in 1999, Loïc started
his carrier in the “Document Market” as Sales Director & Partner Manager
for SEFAS Innovation. In 2004, Loïc joined KOBA (which became DHL Global
Mail) as Sales Director for the unit “Business Process Outsourcing” (BPO).
Since 10 years, Loïc is exclusively dedicated to the “Document
Industry”.
Giorgio
Licastro
TMedia Measurement Managing Director
Giorgio Licastro, in GfK Eurisko since has 1997, has 20 years of
experience in marketing intelligence. He is a qualitative and
quantitative researcher who has cumulated skills in different fields
such as Advertising Tracking Studies, Web Site Evaluation, Cross Media.
He currently leads the Media Measurement Department. He is also
responsible for Audimail, the Italian currency for Direct Mailing.
He is also in the Board of Governors of IMRO – Interactive Marketing
Research Organisation (S. Francisco) and cooperates with the Association
of Psichologists of Lombardia as expert of innovation and new
technologies.
He has published a number of papers and presented his marketing research

Danny Mertens
Business Development Manager, Xeikon (Punch Graphix)
Danny Mertens joined Xeikon in 1996 on the verge of digital printing and
he is currently worldwide responsible for the market development and
sales support in the high volume variable data printing markets,
focussing on transpromo and direct marketing applications. Danny holds a
Master’s degree in engineering and is based in the Punch Graphix
corporate headquarters in Lier Belgium.
Dr. René Müller
CEO, GMC Software Technology
Dr. René Müller is CEO of GMC Software Technology, which he
founded in 1994. Dr. Mueller holds a PhD in Physics from the Swiss
Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich, and an MBA from IMD
International in Lausanne, Switzerland. His professional experience
includes a strong background in research, including fuel cells research
with ABB Brown-Boveri, Baden, Switzerland, and Low Temperature Physics
with IBM. His management background includes several years as a
management consultant with Bain & Co. in London and Munich, and later as
a freelance turnaround specialist. Since 1994, he has led the worldide
team at GMC software technology.
Nicola Muraro
Vice President Business Development, Gruppo Selecta
Nicola Muraro is the man of vision in Gruppo Selecta, whereas is
Vice-President for Business Development. Thanks to his longstanding
experience in sales, he developed innovative solutions in major European
companies, improving processes and increasing effectiveness, based on
the principles of consultancy services and customer centricity.
Nicola has been working in the printing industry for 20 years. In 1988
he co-founded Selecta and played a major role in making it the first
Italian printing company that used the Internet opportunity in a
pervasive way.
His ability to identify the impact of the new technologies on the
printing industry has made him one of the world wide leaders in this
sector. Nicola studied both philosophy and electronics, combining his
pragmatic side and his interests into technical engineering with his
creativity and open-mindness.
Nicola Muraro is A Board member of International Printers Network and
was the first president of the Italian Chapter of Xplor. Being the
intelligent speaker that he is, he often is invited to give speeches at
conferences and events c/o University and industry associations.
Carl Michael Nägele

After a university degree in business administration in 1983, start as
Key Account Manager at Xerox, Germany, later assistant of the Managing
Director.
In 1987 Sales Director at Georg Kohl, Germany a specialized company for
print, direct mail and transactional printing. 1990 Managing Director,
1996 CEO.
In 2008 CEO at Swiss Post Solutions GmbH, Germany, responsible for
direct mail, cards, customer care and transactional printing in 7
countries.
Dan Peer
Chairman and President, DeveloPrint SPRL
Dan joined DeveloPrint at the beginning of 2009 and played a major role
in transforming the company into a full-service leading player in the
TransPromo market.
Prior to joining DeveloPrint, Dan held several senior positions at a
number of top tier companies, including CEO, CFO and COO at Makhteshim
Agan, a leading publicly traded agrichemical manufacturer with annual
revenues of more than $2 billion.
Throughout his career, Dan has managed, established, acquired, merged
and integrated many business operations. He served on boards of
directors and as CEO in some of these companies.
Dan holds a BA in Economics from Bar-Ilan University and an MBA in
Business Administration and Factories Management from Beer-Sheva
University. He has also completed INSEAD’s Advanced Management Program.
Barb Pellow

Ventures, an internationally known firm specializing in the digital
document and Print-On-Demand industry.
She is a frequent speaker at industry events as well as a recognized
author. She is on the Board of Directors of Ft. Lauderdale based
Spherion and holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from
Michigan Technological University.

Kaspar Roos
Senior Consultant, InfoTrends
Kaspar Roos is a Senior Consultant for InfoTrends’ European On Demand
Printing & Publishing and Production Workflow & Custom Communications
Solutions Services. Mr. Roos is responsible for conducting graphic arts
market research, providing forecast analysis, consulting with clients,
and creating editorial content for product and market analysis reports.
Before joining InfoTrends, Mr. Roos held the position of Product
Marketing Manager for Atlas Software/Objectif Lune, an independent
software provider for the Graphic Arts and Data Center industry. In this
function, he provided strategic advice to the product management team
based on industry trends, competitive analysis, and field response.
During his years at Objectif Lune, he gained in-depth understanding of

Marc Schillemans
Vice President and General Manager, EMEA, HP Indigo Division Imaging and
Printing Group, Hewlett-Packard Company
Marc Schillemans is the vice president and general manager for HP’s
Indigo division in the Imaging and Printing Group in Europe, Middle East
and Africa (EMEA). In this role, Marc is responsible for all sales,
marketing and service activities for HP’s digital press solutions. His
task is to further develop the digital press market penetration for
commercial printing, labels and packaging, photo specialty, publishing,
direct mail and transactional/transpromotional applications.
Previously, Marc was the general manager for HP’s Inkjet Industrial
Division in EMEA and prior to that, president of Scitex Vision Europe, a
role he held from the beginning of 2005 until November 1, 2005 when
Scitex Vision was legally integrated with HP.
Before joining Scitex Vision, Marc was the vice-president for Sales and
Services at Agfa Graphics Systems, where he was responsible for
worldwide sales. In addition, he managed the Global Service organisation,
including technical and application support. Prior to that, Marc was a
general manager of Xerox Direct in Germany and senior vice president in
Xeikon and Esko-Graphics, were he was responsible for channel
development, OEM partnerships and marketing strategies.
Ralf Schlozer
Director, InfoTrends
As Director of the On Demand Printing & Publishing Consulting Service
Europe, Ralf Schlözer is responsible for all service related
publications and research in Europe. He is responsible for market trend
analysis and forecasting, event or client driven research projects and
creating presentations, newsletters and analysis reports. Mr. Schlözer
has over 16 years of experience in the Graphic Arts and Graphic System
Manufacturing industries. Before joining InfoTrends, Mr. Schlözer spent
5 years in the Research & Development and Digital Printing Business
groups of MAN Roland. He was responsible for product planning, system
integration, and marketing of a newly developed direct imaging press
generation. Mr. Schlözer also supported the integration of xerographic
OEM printing systems operations. Mr. Schlözer has extensive knowledge of
traditional and direct imaging presses as well as non-impact printing
technologies. He is the author of several conference papers, trade press
articles, and presentations. Mr. Schlözer graduated as Diplom Ingenieur
in Printing Management and Technology in Berlin, Germany and also holds
an M.S. Degree in Graphic Arts Systems from the Rochester Institute of
Technology (R.I.T.) in the United States.
Jean-Paul Serneel,
Member of the Executive Comity, Belgian Post
Jean-Paul has a Master Business Engineer degree in Information
Management at the
University of Leuven.
He started his career at Orda-B, a company specialized in the
development of IT applications for administrative processing,
where he became Business unit Manager for print and mail.
In 1995, he
joined SPEOS as a shareholder. He was amongst other things the
driving force behind the successful strategy change from a
direct mail company towards a niche player within transactional
mail. At present Jean-Paul is Administrator at SPEOS and is as a
Sales & Marketing Director responsible for the Commercial
policy.
Thanks to his expertise, he is considered as a captain of the
industry within the document management world.
Matt
Swain
Senior Research Analyst, InfoTrends
Matt Swain is a Senior Research Analyst for InfoTrends’ TransPromo
Service. He is responsible for providing market and forecast analysis,
developing content for the service and related projects, covering and
reporting on industry conferences and advances in the TransPromo space,
and offering ongoing client care and inquiry response.
Mr. Swain first joined InfoTrends as part of the company’s On Demand
Printing & Publishing Consulting Service. Prior to joining InfoTrends,
he conducted market research for Barb Pellow, provided Print-On-Demand
marketing support at the corporate offices of Standard Register, and was
employed as an electronic printing lab technician at FLEXcon.
Mr. Swain received a Bachelor of Arts in Imaging and Photographic
Technology as well as a Master of Science in Print Media from the
Rochester Institute of Technology. His Master’s thesis, entitled
“Changes in Media Mix for Leading National Advertisers (2003-2005),”
provides the foundation for his insight into current trends in the
advertising industry.
Alastair Tempest
Director General, FEDMA
Alastair Tempest was appointed director of the Federation of European
Direct Marketing (FEDMA) in 1999. He had been director general for
public affairs and self regulation at FEDMA since the inception of the
federation in April 1997.
He has made his career in European public affairs strategy and
commercial communications policy in Brussels. Prior to his work at FEDMA,
Alastair was director of European relations at Reader’s Digest; and
previously director general of the European Advertising Tripartite (an
umbrella grouping of advertisers, advertising agencies & the media). He
was also director of external affairs for the European Association of
Advertising Agencies. He started his career in London with the
Confederation of British Industry & subsequently for Independent
Television. He was elected a member of the UK DMA’s roll of Honor in
2008.
Allen Thrasher
Marketing Principal EMEA, InfoPrint Solutions
Allen is the Marketing Principal for EMEA at InfoPrint Solutions - a
joint venture between IBM and Ricoh. Allen works with customers to
provide expert advice and guidance on Transpromo. TransPromo combines
transactional data, proactive marketing, and advanced output technology
that is generating powerful opportunities for companies worldwide. It’s
a business-to-consumer direct marketing strategy combining personalised
marketing messages with must-read statements, invoices, receipts and
other financial documents.
Her over twenty years experience across the breadth of brand, integrated
marketing, and strategy including over fourteen years direct marketing
and eleven years digital marketing, allows her to provide a broader
perspective to InfoPrint's customers. Prior to joining InfoPrint, Allen
worked as a senior marketing consultant with the DM Consultancy in
London. She consulted across the IT/Telecoms, Consumer Products and
Retail sectors including launching BT Mobile and multiple product
portofolios for Thomas Sanderson and Apollo blinds, Hunter Douglas
subsidiaries, in the UK. Her global experience includes launching
Concert Communications’ (a joint venture between AT&T & BT) IP Portfolio
and Marriott Rewards Internationally. As well, she worked with Intuit in
the US to launch its Quickeninsurance.com in the midst of the dot com
boom. She holds two bachelor degrees from Southern Methodist University,
advanced marketing from New York University, and is a member of the
Chartered Institute of Marketing in the UK. In 2009, she received a
Woman of Distinction Award from Outputlinks for her work on the
forefront of TransPromo.
Fabrizio Viga

Fabrizio Vigo was born in Torino in 1971, he took a degree in Business
Economics from Torino University and he got an Executive MBA at “Alma
Graduate School” in Bologna .
Since 2007 he is Content Management and Business Information Manager in
Seat Pagine Gialle and also Consodata Spa CEO; Consodata SPA is a leader
company in marketing services and in data base management.
Fabrizio actual task involves the strategy and contents management
responsibility of Seat’s databases to realize new products and to sell
marketing data in the Italian market.
Consodata offer, besides its original direct marketing and geomarketing
products and services sold to large national customers, also includes a
business information portal (Lineaffari.com) and a specialized B2B
search portal Kompass.com which both provide marketing services and
credit analysis tools to Italian PMI, with a dedicated sales force.
Fabrizio Vigo is also the President of the subsidiary company Cipi Spa (
that works in the business gifts and fancy goods sector) and a member of
the Board of Directors of Katalog, a joint venture with Dogan Yayin
Holding for the business development in Turkish directories.
Since 2001, when he joined SEAT, he carried out tasks with a growing
responsibility in planning and control dept, in corporate development
and M&A up to become the Responsible of Planning and Control and
Business Development of Seat Pagine Gialle Group.
Previously he worked, in Italy and abroad, in the Fiat Group, in Ciments
Francais (parent company for international activities of Italcementi
Group) and in Italmobiliare Spa with responsibilities in Internal Audit,
Management Control and Corporate Development. |
