Eric Broockman is the founder and CEO of Alereon. He came to the company from Legerity, and has more than 23 years of leadership practice in the fabless semiconductor and communication IC industries.
Before joining Legerity, Broockman served as CEO and president of Alchemy Semiconductor, held senior management positions at Cirrus Logic, and spent 17 years at IBM in various roles.
Broockman has expertise in both bipolar and MOS technologies, holds eight U.S. patents and was a National Science Foundation graduate fellow. He graduated from the University of Florida with B.S. and M.S. degrees in engineering.
