Mr. Zarakov has over 20 years of experience at high-tech companies where he has held positions in engineering, product management, marketing communications and executive management. Prior to FotoNation, Zarakov was VP of Marketing for Foveon Inc., where he led the company’s corporate communications, branding and highly successful product introduction of the Foveon X3 image sensor. Mr. Zarakov also worked at Apple Computer, Inc for 13 years in digital photography, graphics, and desktop publishing management positions. Zarakov holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Computer Science from The University of California, San Diego. He is co-inventor of 2 patents.
