Richard Campbell

Panasonic Consumer Electronics Company
In this position, Campbell oversees Panasonic’s digital imaging division which includes the successful Lumix line of digital cameras, consumer camcorders, recording media including SD cards and audio accessories. Since his arrival, Panasonic has seen a dramatic increase in distribution and sales for all Lumix digital cameras while maintaining a strong market share position within the camcorder segment.

Campbell was most recently Product Marketing Director for Olympus Imaging America in Melville, N.Y.

At Olympus, Campbell successfully achieved number-one market share status for the first time in the digital camera category for Olympus and grew unit sales 39 percent in his second year as a senior marketing manager. 

Prior to Olympus, Campbell held a number of positions for the Polaroid Corporation, most notably working as the wireless business development manager and the marketing manager for the consumer digital camera business.  Campbell took the success of the digital camera business in the United States market and launched digital camera sales through out Europe, Asia and Australia during his tenure.
