organizers InfoTrends and ATPC announced a successful first time event
that drew over 2,000 visitors on the show floor and over 250 attendees
for the conference program.
“ON DEMAND Russia was a great success, drawing strong crowds and
providing a focal point for the developing interest in production
digital print in the Russian market,” commented Charlie Pesko, President
of InfoTrends. “The high-level Russian government and association
support, the presence of market-leading companies on the show floor, and
the executive-level speakers in the conference sessions all speak to the
impact of this event.”
The conference, which took place November 18-19, 2008, opened with
welcoming addresses from Russian dignitaries from the Russian
Interregional Printing and Publishing Association (MAP) and Moscow State
University of Printing Arts. Boris Kuzmin, President of MAP and

conference tracks during the two-day program. Speakers examined key
growth applications, technologies, value-added services, and other
opportunities and discussed how to incorporate them into existing
business strategies. The conference brought together valuable industry
perspectives from industry experts, digital printing users, and vendors.

leading industry vendors HP, InfoPrint Solutions and Kodak. Alon Bar-Shany,
HP Indigo Press Division Vice President and General Manager commented,

better prepared to reach out to the outside world and participate in the
development of the global digital printing industry.”
The exposition took place over a three-day period where attendees were
