Newton, MA,
February 26, 2008 – Questex Media Group’s ON DEMAND Conference &
Exposition (ondemandexpo.com),
the pre-eminent event for commercial printers, publishers, and in-plant
printing professionals, will host international printing delegations
from China, Italy, Japan, and Russia. Senior executives from the
different regions will join more than 10,000 printing professionals and
print service providers as they discover new strategies to find,
attract, retain, and grow new business with digital technology. The ON
DEMAND Conference & Exposition will take place at the Boston Convention
& Exhibition Center from March 4-6, with tutorials on Monday, March 3,
2008.
“Representatives from over 60 countries will attend the conference and
expo this year, making ON DEMAND one of the leading digital printing
events worldwide,” commented Debra Brown, Event Director, ON DEMAND
Conference & Expo. “We are excited to host the delegations and we look
forward to their participation.”
“China, Japan, and Russia represent three emerging markets for digital
printing. We are expecting strong growth rates from these regions over
the next five years,” commented Charlie Pesko, Executive Vice President,
Questex Media. “Italy represents the fourth largest economy and accounts
for 8.7% of Print-On-Demand installments in Europe. We expect, as the
economy improves, Italy will reach its full potential as a market
leader.”
During their visit, the international delegates will tour the ON DEMAND
show floor to see and touch the latest in digital printing technology,
attend the dynamic keynote sessions, receive a market briefing by
InfoTrends, and tour local printing sites, Nextgen Printing and W.A.
Wilde.
Nextgen, a full service printing, marketing, and communications company
located in Canton, MA, will discuss its continuing transition from print
provider to an “all-under-one-roof” marketing solutions provider.
“We are excited to be sharing our experience with this international
delegation. We look forward to not only showing these folks what we do,
but also listening to and learning from them as well,” said John
Rothstein, Nextgen’s President. The international delegation will see
Nextgen’s 90 experienced employees utilizing state-of-the-art technology
to help customers market to, print for, and communicate with their
customers. Nextgen’s total solution package makes the best use of
traditional offset printing, digital equipment for variable data
messaging, wide format printing, along with a full bindery and in-house
mailing and fulfillment services. “We are very proud that Questex Media
Group’s ON DEMAND Conference & Exposition has chosen Nextgen to host
this prestigious international delegation,” added Rothstein.
Founded in 1868, W.A. Wilde has evolved from a small New England
publishing company into one of the nation’s leading direct marketing
solutions provider. Based in Holliston, MA, W. A. Wilde offers a
comprehensive suite of direct marketing services— including strategic
account planning, creative development, integrated media research and
acquisition, turnkey direct mail production services, database
management, and fulfillment services. In addition, the company holds a
cutting-edge position in digital asset management and currently offers
its clients a host of Web-based marketing tools as well as highly
customizable Print-On-Demand capabilities. To that end, Wilde recently
announced the launch of its Digital Publishing division, which
integrates traditional binding equipment with the latest digital
printing technologies to serve sectors that rely heavily on digital
printing like education, financial services, and other Web-to-print
publishing businesses.
“Our business continues to focus on our core expertise—strategic
marketing, technology solutions, direct mail, and fulfillment; however,
with an increased demand from customers for digital publishing, we
expect that custom digital printing will be a growing segment of our
business over the next few years,” said Tom A. Wilde, CEO and President,
W.A. Wilde Company.
