Several of the exhibitors offered their candid thoughts on the success of the event. Denis Glushkov, Director of HP Indigo Department in Russia and CIS, stated “We are satisfied with the level of participation HP had in the exposition of ON DEMAND Russia 2009, as well as the results of our participation. This event helped us gain exposure to a large audience of Russian graphic communications professionals as we announced a number of new products, including our flagship model HP Indigo 700, as well as SmartStream Director - an integrated hardware and software Web-to-print system. The show demonstrated growing interest of the Russian audience in the latest print technologies, which meet the needs of today’s print services market as never before. We are sure the exposition will result in a number of successful installations of HP Indigo presses in Russia and CIS in the nearest future.”

Olga Lamvol, Sales and Marketing Manager at InfoTok/Buhrs, commented, “While we decided to participate in this year’s trade show merely to reinforce our brand image and monitor the market, we were pleased to have had a number of very interesting unplanned meetings, which I believe will develop into new installations of Buhrs equipment. This event exceeded our expectations. It was also great to see the broad range of products that were showcased in the ON DEMAND hall – definitely worth seeing.”

According to Vladimir Neplokh, Techical Director, POSTYLE Ltd.: “My impression of the conference last year was positive, and I was further impressed with this year’s event. I met with more than 200 graphic communications professionals from Russia and other countries at ON DEMAND this year and they were all happy with the conference. Their perceptions of the conference were that it was positive, timely, and professional. This year’s show was a great venue for conducting business and learning about market developments.”

Alexey Ivanenko, President of COMLINE Group said “This year was COMLINE Group’s second time as a Silver sponsor of the Conference & Exposition ON DEMAND Russia. We are proud to sponsor this show, as it is a leading event in the world of digital print technologies. The show served as a fantastic venue for COMLINE to demonstrate that how unique knowledge, technologies, hardware and software products enable specific solutions to provide efficient development of our clients’ printing business. Our booth drew a lot of traffic, and attendees showed a keen interest in the equipment and software we displayed. An important part of ON DEMAND Russia, COMLINE participated in the conference business program, also for the second year. We shared the knowledge and expertise we have gained through several years of specializing in the development of business solutions for the production digital printing market in these sessions. We spent about 30 to 40 minutes answering questions after each presentation. This is demonstrative of a high level of interest from the audience.”

The ON DEMAND conference program drew 300 attendees and 40 speakers from the leading vendors of equipment, software, and consumables, as well as providers of print services and solutions for digital print. The attendees indicated a strong interest in discussing how to stay afloat and obtain consistent revenue in the face of reduced print runs and slowed customer demand.

We look forward to seeing you for another successful ON DEMAND Russia event in 2010!
