ON DEMAND Russia 2010 A Success for Attendees & Exhibitors

The third annual ON DEMAND Russia Conference & Exposition was held at Moscow’s Crocus Expo Center October 18-22, 2010 by event organizers InfoTrends, ATPC, and MVK. The exhibit floor had on display the latest digital printing equipment as well as software products, consumables, and cross-media systems. ON DEMAND Russia was co-located with the LabelShow.

More than 40 companies took part as exhibitors. Among them were Yam International (CIS), Konica Minolta, Kodak, COMLINE, Terra Prints, Postyle, IPRIS, Evropapier, Epson, KERN CIS, Hunkeler, Nissa Distribution and many others. Exhibitors showcased their latest hardware, software, supplies, and business solutions for the digital printing market.

Platinum sponsors of the event included Canon, Kodak, Konica Minolta, and Screen/Yam International. Gold sponsors included Comline and Lord Digital/Goznak.

Exhibitors were pleased with the quality of attendees, many stating that they were meeting with qualified buyers who were looking to make purchases. Attendees took the opportunity to network, attend conference sessions, hear from industry leaders and look for new products and services from exhibiting companies.

The ON DEMAND Russia educational conference program assembled around 250 attendees and 40 speakers from the leading vendors of equipment, software, supplies, as well as innovative providers of print services and other industry experts. The conference opened with remarks from David Pesko (Vice President at InfoTrends) and Leonid Shakhmundes (President at ATPC). These speakers stressed the importance of an educational event and addressed the growth potential of the Print On Demand market in Russia. This was followed by a Keynote presentation by Ralf Schlozer, Director at InfoTrends, focusing on key applications driving growth.

Conference attendees chose from over 15 conference sessions, structured in two conference tracks during the two day program. The second day of the conference was highlighted by a Keynote Panel that included executive-level speakers from each of the Platinum Sponsors discussing future technology and market trends, as well as new applications and advice on how to develop your digital printing business.
