Ricoh Priport HQ9000 Receives BLI "Pick" Award For Outstanding Digital Duplicator

December 14, 2006, Hackensack, NJ - Buyers Laboratory, the leading global provider of critical test reports on document imaging products, has chosen the Ricoh Priport HQ9000 to receive its highly respected "Pick of the Year" award for "Outstanding Digital Duplicator." "The Ricoh Priport HQ9000 clearly stood out among digital duplicators recently tested by BLI in a number of ways," said Lynn Nannariello, BLI's senior editor.
In addition to giving an outstanding overall performance in BLI's demanding two-month evaluation, the Priport HQ9000 features a touch screen, found only on a small group of digital duplicators, and a top speed of 135 ppm, while most digital duplicators only offer a top speed of 120 ppm.
Also setting the Priport HQ9000 apart from recently tested models is the ability to output two colors in a single pass when working in conjunction with the optional TC-IIR. And the optional SeriPrint 25, which uses ultraviolet light to dry output instantly, enables faster production of jobs, including multiple-color jobs, by eliminating the wait between passes.
