EFI Reggiani Drives Sustainability for Textile and Apparel Direct-to-Fabric Printing Solutions

As is the case for many other trade shows that were supposed to take place during the first half of this year, FESPA 2020 has been postponed due to the coronavirus. Originally scheduled for March 24 – 27, the event has been rescheduled to October 6 – 8. This postponement didn’t stop EFI Reggiani from announcing its new textile solutions, and FESPA attendees will hopefully get to experience these innovations firsthand later this year. FESPA October will also enable the company to introduce further innovations as the product lineup continues to evolve.

Mimaki’s Mantras at Virtual FESPA Press Launch: Bigger is Better, Collaboration is Key, and Flexibility is Favourable

In light of the postponement of FESPA 2020, Mimaki Europeresponded quickly by announcing its planned product launches via a webinar. Ronald van den Broek (General Sales Manager, EMEA) provided an overview of the product announcements, Bert Benckhuysen (Senior Product Manager, EMEA) went into more detail on the products, and Danna Drion (Senior Marketing Manager) outlined Mimaki’s upcoming series of virtual meetings and customer/press communications as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The company’s strategic objectives for this year include continued investments in innovation, efficiency, and competitiveness for all business units. The actual FESPA event, which is now scheduled for October 2020, is expected to bring further announcements. The primary sign & graphics and textile printing announcements from the webinar are outlined below.

Gamification Takes Center Stage at (Relatively) Quiet PAX East 2020

Despite fears of the coronavirus, tens of thousands of attendees flocked to PAX East at the Boston Convention Center from February 27th to March 1st. The event, which managed to be held before numerous tradeshows and industry events were either postponed or cancelled, marked the continued celebration of video game technologies and the gaming culture. Compared to years past, however, this PAX felt quieter than usual.
